11 mile canyon Fishing Report 2025

Hello everyone, Today was another tough day. We did not hit the great numbers we wanted but we did manage to scrape up some nice Wahoo and as well as some nice Tuna, Yellowtail, and Grouper. A nice variety as well as getting everyone a Wahoo aboard the boat made for a nice small victory, but we still need some much better numbers tomorrow. We are hoping for good current and conditions tomorrow. Will report then, Team Supreme

Nov. 12

Not too much to report today, but we got our lines in the water, and ended up with a few varieties of fish chilling in the refrigerated sea water. We ended up at sort of a one-stop-shop in that we caught the three species that we were targeting all on the anchor. That is not typical fishing, down this way. We usually find the fish one species at a time. Half the boat caught a wahoo today so that's not a bad start and we caught quite a few 15-30 pound yellowtails too with a handfull of call them 25-40 pound tuna as well. Weather continues to be nice, with a bit of wind that popped up later on in the day. It was great to finally use some of that tackle today, that we've spent so much time rigging over the past few days. Now we can get down to the serious business of (hopefully) catching some creatures from the deep blue sea to bring home, and share with our families at the dinner table.All is well aboard the Polaris Supreme, and it's first call for our evening meal consisting of pork chops, apple sauce, and assorted goodies. Great fishing again today with our 17 Angler’s putting the Landings rental gear to the test. 29 Bluefin, 6 Yellowfin and 4 Yellowtail in awesome weather.

Happy fourth of July! Well things didn't improve much, just a handful or so, so we are heading back up to finish off our excellent albacore trip with some local fishing. We will be at the dock Thursday morning at 7:30.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-17-2016 We got out today bright and early without a hitch and are rolling down south for eight days of we hope will be spectacular sportfishing! The group today is an open group of "The Usual Suspects" that takes this annual voyage south with us each year. Our bait looks just okay so far? Our weather is fantastic. We have gotten a full day in of eating, sleeping and rigging.Tune in here tomorrow and we will have an update on our travel down day. The Polaris supreme crew P.S. We have just put a 1 1/2 day trip online for next weekend. It will be leaving Sunday night at 6 PM and returning Tuesday morning at 6 AM. Good Evening Fisherman, We left the dock early this morning on our annual Holeman 10 day with a great load of mid-sized sardines and very nice weather. We are now making our way down south to the Tuna and Wahoo grounds. We should be arriving to the fishing grounds early Tuesday morning. The majority of the day, after leaving the bay, was spent getting to know everyone and rigging up. Tomorrow we will be giving our famous fishing seminar.
