Captain Mike Pritchard checked in tonight with a final wrap-up from the Tribute’s offshore trip today.  We had 9 anglers and caught 17 Bluefin Tuna (one shy of limits), 1 Yellowfin Tuna and a Yellowtail.  We had flat calm weather.  We are back at it tonight.  Come on out and go fishing on the Tribute.

Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute to report fantastic Yellowfin Tuna for our 33 anglers, we have 240 fish on board and still fishing. Hey everybody the voyager has another 1 day shallow water mexican coast trip set up for this saturday. We will be keeping everything under 200 feet! The bass fishing has been very fun in the kelp, along with shallow water reds! And all the other critters to go with them! The live squid has been abundant so we hope to make that to fish with for the trip. The trip is limited load to 16 passengers so act quickly!!! We are already up to 11 as of this morning!!  Good evening all and welcome back once again to the Polaris Supreme.  Well we're in November now and with that comes a true fall 10 day trip.  We took some time off if you didn't notice.  We spent 2 weeks dockside with just a little bit of boat work to do so we had some time to ourselves.  I didn't follow what the other crew did too much.  I was to busy with a 7 month old which by the way is getting better and better and I didn't think it could.  She's hard to leave but fishing calls.

 So we're off and running.  We got a full load of should be good bait and we're headed to destinations undecided at the moment.  One thing we know is we'll be in full travel mode tomorrow so we'll have a relaxing day of tackle rigging and seminars.  The fishing sounds pretty fair at the moment.  Plenty of action on smaller grade of 10-30 pound fish in areas.  There is also some wahoo to catch if your timing is good.  There hasn't been sign of any big tuna in about a week now but we may be able to blame windy conditions and a very bright moon on that.  Right now things are changing and for us, we hope that's a good thing.

 One last thing.  It's Movember and I am sporting a very creepy stache right now.  It's a 2 week stache and it's just not long enough to look cool yet.  But I guess it's a good cause.  My hero's on the LA Clippers think so anyways.  I'll check back tomorrow but I dought(spell check tells me that dought is spelled wrong.  Facebook the right way please} I'll have much to report it being a travel day and all.
        

Sunday, September 30th, 2012 -- Departure report.

Hi friends. We departed at 1800 hours on yet another 1.5 -day trip. After last trips bait, I was deathly concerned about what type of load we were going to get and to all of our surprise, we received a healthy and plentiful load of bait. We'll see how it fares throughout the night into tomorrow but for now, I'm pleased with those little critters. Hopefully, we put them to good use tomorrow.

For tomorrow, we'll be hitting the local grounds to try our hand a little closer to home. I'm excited about the prospects of finding something decent but I'm more excited about our weather outlook. Our program is showing five knots or less for the morning and afternoon so we're hoping the weatherman calls it right and Mama Nature gives us a break from yesterdays beating.

Anyhow, we're munchin' on some prime rib and getting our tackle put together. We'll be looking for a school in the dark to shut down on and we'll take things from there. Wish us luck and we'll chat with you tomorrow.

Far from wide open but today’s charter group was made up of people that get it. Weather we catch 200 fish or 0 fish, the Lindhart charter always enjoys the day. 20 yellowtail and 51 calico bass took the plunge into the RSW today.

~~Trip Update 08.12.2015

 Good evening friends.  Today was our final day to get some lines in the water. After last night, we weren't sure what kind of time we were going to have to fish. It was a tiny bit bumpy to say the least.  Well, it wouldn't be a long range trip without a little bit of choppy seas, at least it wasn't til the last night of the trip. All and all, we had great weather during all of of our fishing time.  We did however make it to where we wanted to be about 1030 am and kicked the anchor over the side to use up hat bit we had left.  It actually turned out to be a pretty bust late morning. Not long after we dropped the pick, the yellows came up showing their presence right away. If you wanted your fix on tails for the trip, this morning was the time.  It was still tthat great 16-22 lb grade that we saw down south. Not at all a great wway to end a pretty darn good trip.   It got to be time to point her toward San Diego and get everyone home to see their families. Time to break down the tackle, scrub the boat and finish the trip with all of the fishing stories that have happened over the last 5 days.

 The boat will be docking Thursday morning at 6 am to offload and head back out on Ron Heils annual 5 day trip with Drew at the helm.
