Hello everyone, Today we had to work at it. The Yellowtail did not come easy, but we were able to piece it together with a couple flurries in the morning. For the most part the Yellowtail being tagged have been great size,18-35 lbs! In addition to the Yellowtail we we did land some beautiful grouper. Both Snowy and Leopard!. A great 8 day trip bonus! Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

OK tired of boat work! Need a little motivation To go out fishing on The Polaris Supreme? We have a 6 Day trip coming up in 2 weeks and it still has 7 openings on it! SUNDAY JUNE 25th. We will be targeting the 50 to 300lb Bluefin that are 10 to 100 miles just out side San Diego as well as all the other usual species. The following pictures are from Rick Maxa (AKA Rock Cod Rick) Of Lets Talk Hook Up Fame. These Bluefin Where all caught by Rick and his Buddy's , some as close as 9 miles. THEY WHERE NOT CAUGHT ON THE POLARIS SUPREME! THAT'S WHY WE NEED YOU ON OUR FIRST TRIP ON THE 25TH! OK now do you want to go fishing! 6 days too long? 24 yellowtail 1 bluefin. Still fish around but the changing conditions have them acting up.

Mike Pritchard checked in to let us know that the Tribute catch was now up to 89 Yellowtail. The grade is still in the 10 to 15 lb. range.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. Today we caught 2 Bluefin Tuna, 30 California Yellowtail and 1 Pacific Bonito. We never found the big yellowtail blowout we were looking for but we did see sign of Bluefin.

Quick summary for Tuesday!

We finished up the trip fishing a high spot for yellowfin tuna and yellowtail We ended up with a great well-rounded three-day trip. We were so busy we just didn't have time to take a lot of pictures.

The Polaris Supreme Crew!

54 passengers 6 yellowtail 80 calico bass 56 barracuda. Great summertime action taking place at the Coronado islands right now. Yellowtail are always the target species this time of year. However, almost every spot that we try to catch yellowtail at also has calico bass and barracuda. It would be a good idea to bring a 15 lb. bass rod along with your yellowtail gear.
