The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

Nicer weather= nicer fishing ! The underwater binoculars had us stopping regularly on 12-20 lb yellowtail. Yo-yo jigs on 40 & 50 lb was the hot setup.

Hi friends. We departed early this afternoon on an open party two-day trip with a nice load of folks hoping to find themselves on some gamefish come Saturday. We have a lot of new folks on this trip and a lot of familiar faces joining us for the weekend, so we're pumped. Our gameplan is to run a little below the area we were fishing on Thursday as there were some schools of Bluefin seen and we'll try our luck at some kelp paddies as well. Anyhow, our weather is very pleasant and our passengers are in good spirits and we'll be fishing at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning, Hopefully, we'll awake to a big ole, fat school under the boat, ready to eat. Ok guys we are just finishing up the last few items on our maintenance list. We plan to start fishing daily on Saturday February 2. These trips will be targeting yellowtail at the Coronado islands. If we do not see yellowtail we will target bottom fish. Bring a yo-yo rod a live bait rod and a rock cod outfit. These trips will cost $105 which includes your Mexican permit. Come join us !

The Voyager will be fishing Seabass this wekend on it,s 1.5 day departing friday night. San Clemente, and Catalina is the destination. Limited load 12 people $300 includes meals and bunk. Contact Jodie at 858-220-1593

Hi friends. Pretty fun day today. One small yellowfin jig strike turned into a plunker on 30-70 lb. bluefin tuna. We had a lot of heartbreaks but we did manage to land a few of those beauties. Love seein' those big brutes. No prettier fish in the ocean, that's for sure. Anyhow, around lunch time, we had to call it a trip and make our way back home. It was a great way to end our day and the Blue/White group is pumped.

Mr. Gledhill is one of the most gracious chartermaster you could ever have and he assembled a great group of guys to take fishing with him. The cocktails and wine are endless and so are the good times. Thanks, Robin.

Anyhow, we'll be arriving to the docks tomorrow at 0600 hours and the boat will be turning around and leaving for a 2-day charter. Look for reports to continue from any number of captains or crewmembers other than myself. Also, we have an 8-day trip leaving after the 2-day that has a few spots on it and in the next couple of weeks, we also have a load of 1 1/2 and 2-day trips on schedule. Call Susan if you'd like to go long-range or local fishing aboard the Supreme. Later.

Hello Everyone, Today we had an nice hit on Wahoo. They were big beautiful fish. We managed to get everyone a Wahoo. Along with Wahoo we had some nice Dorado, Tuna, and even a Pargo mixed in. The conditions are really looking up around here! We will be working up trying for Yellowtail Tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme P.S. Good afternoon everyone reading. It was a turn around day today. Everything went smooth. We departed on our annual "Lets Talk Hook Up" 4 day trip this afternoon with a full load of passengers. The bait thing went smooth today as well. Good looking bait for us today. We're thinking we'll have no bait issues this trip unless we run out catching tons of bluefin but we welcome that. That's the best problem to have out here. It sounds like a slow day today in the bluefin grounds. I'd rather it be slow while we're at the dock then when we're out fishing though. We'll see what happens tomorrow and take it from there. The weather now is lovely but the weather forecast appears to be less then good. Let's hope they're wrong about that one. It's just about time for our tackle seminar followed up with the prime rib so I have to go.
