kamloops lake Fishing Report 2024

Hey Anglers:

We have three trips that need passengers. Hoping to help the charter masters fill these.

The first trip is a one day that departs on July 16th. Fishing on the 17th. There are 4 spots open. Cost is $205. Limited to 20 passengers.

The next trip is a two day that departs July 24th (Tuesday night) fishing July 25th and 26th . cost of the trip is $450.00 and includes food and Mexican permits. Limited to 22 anglers. There are 8 spots open on this one.

The last one is a 2.5 day charter at the end of July. This is limited to 18 passengers. Trip departs on July 26th fishing on the 27th and 28th and returns on the morning of the 29th.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 10-22-2019 Today was one of those mind numbing days where you just can't believe fishing is that good. We had fantastic fishing on just monster size Wahoo and unbelievable fishing on beautiful big Dorado. We got Wahoo throughout the whole day and Dorado was a steady 2 1/2 hour bite of catch and release with the guys keeping only a few of what they wanted. Both the Dorado and Wahoo are just an absolute premium grade. Beautiful weather again today and will be out offshore again tomorrow looking for those big beautiful kelp patties that produced such a phenomenal day. We had plenty of Wahoo photos but neglected to get one single Dorado photo. You'll just have to believe me it was good and they were big. We'll see you tomorrow hopefully we have the same glowing report. The Polaris Supreme Crew.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute last night updating us about the 1.5 day trip returning this AM. We had 72 Yellowtail (up to 40 pounds), 13 Bluefin Tuna (up to 30 pounds), and 7 Dorado. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-08-2016 Hello Everyone, Another great day here. Today the surface action was second to none. We had some really nice hits on yellowtail in the morning. Lots of surface iron and flyline fish. As the day went on it slowed to a steady pick. It seemed spots of breezing and pushing fish were the hot ticket today, so tomorrow we will keep our eyes peeled in search of them once again. Hello everyone, Today was our last day of fishing for our annual A.H.I 8 day trip. We fished the beach hoping that some yellowtail would be waiting for us. Although our time was limited we managed to capture some nice grade fish until we had to head for San Diego. The trip was a great success and now we are in for a long ride home. Even though the fishing was over, smiles were all around and we could not have asked for more. Great fishing, good company and amazing weather, this trip turned out to be one for the books. Found our Shot at Gold! Today we spent our day looking for kelps. There was a lot of kelps but we had to be selective and persist through many empty's until we were able to find one that was holding. The fruitful kelp for us had beautiful Dorado that wanted to bite.It was a chaotic 30 minutes of biting fish, but we made the most out of it. Everyone was able to land a Dorado and we even picked off a Wahoo! Here we have Mark and Jon with their beautiful Dorado!

Friday, August 8th, 2013

Hi friends. Different day for us here on the Supreme. After thumping and bumping our way up the line last night, we were pleasantly surprised to find decent weather when we put the lines in the water. Our weather just got progressively better and better throughout the day. Super good feelings about that, especially after yesterdays beating. Anyhow, the Bluefin tuna cooperated for us this morning and we produced on multiple drifts all the way until after lunch. The grade of fish was dandy; a lot of 25-40 pounders with a few bigger and few smaller in the mix, but for the most part, it was a nice quality of tuna that the gang threw aboard today and we deserved it.

Although we would've liked more to make up for yesterday, we're happy that the gang had some action and we're happy with the quality. We're also happy with Chef Schoolers Fillet Oscar that we haven't had in a few weeks. With that, we've put a bow on this 3-day adventure and are currently en route back to San Diego. Our ETA is looking like around 06:30 hours tomorrow. The boat turns around for Mr. Eric Roggers 5-day party cruise. Look for Captain Drew to man the helm and the keyboard. Take care, y'all.
